We are currently seeking a Project Engineer to join our Wichita, KS team!

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain schedules and coordinate with assigned construction projects
  • Client Development/Relationships
  • Cooperate and communicate effectively with Project Managers and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support
  • Prepare and distribute all approved job documents to ensure compliance with construction drawings and specifications
  • Prepare and submit O&M’s and closing documents to GC’s and Owners upon job completion
  • Coordinate multiple departments for owner training/turnover

Onsite Responsibilities:

  • Timecard completion for crews
  • Support communication between PM and Foremen
  • Manage project documents (including submittals)

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction, preferred
  • Minimum 2 – 4 years of experience in the Construction Industry, required

Physical Demands:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk and use hands and arms to examine materials, equipment and jobsite surveys.
  • The employee is occasionally required to balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb stairs, climb ladders, ride in and operate a scissor or boom lift.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust and focus.
  • The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme temperatures.

We are currently seeking a Plumbing/Pipefitter Apprentice to join our team in Southwest Kansas!

 Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist Foreman in establishing Construction Work according to priorities and plans
  • Follow project schedules for time allotment and installation requirements
  • Observe safety practices at job site
  • Adherence to general and daily responsibilities
  • Aide in the safe keeping of the tools
  • Supervise helpers
  • Consult Foreman when problems arise
  • Report progress to Foreman
  • Assist in loading/unloading material deliveries
  • Check work area, tools, and equipment for safety concerns. Notify your Foreman of any concerns.
  • Help Foreman coordinate installation with other trades
  • Visualize your installation and report material needs, as well as issues, to the Foreman
  • Participate in Apprentice training
  • Attend weekly job box safety and informational skills

Physical Demands:

  • The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
  • The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop; kneel and crouch.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

The right candidate will have experience working on commercial and industrial projects. This person is motivated and looking to grow their career while managing quality and consistency of products and service delivery in accordance to Central Consolidated standards providing the customer with an exceptional experience.

 Job Responsibilities

  • Work as a dedicated team member to ensure fast, flexible and expert service to every customer
  • Assist team while carrying out related work
  • Maintain safe and clean working environment in accordance to Central’s safety standards

Job Requirements

  • Plumbing/Pipefitting experience is preferred but not required
  • Able to work 40-50 hours/week
  • Must pass a physical including drug and alcohol screening
  • Valid Kansas driver’s license and insurable driving record
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must have good communication, reading, writing, and arithmetic skills
  • Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule

We are currently seeking a Mechanical Construction Manager to join our Wichita, KS team!

Job Responsibilities:
• Provides oversight of all mechanical construction jobs, including coordination and allocation of resources to include people, tools and equipment to ensure construction jobs are performed to quality standards, on time and within budget.
• Prepare and manage department budget with sustainable/profitable growth.
• Evaluate team’s performance and development.
• Design and implement business strategies, plans, and procedures.
• Supervises Project Managers and Project Management Assistants to ensure mechanical construction jobs are performed to quality standards, on time and within budget.
• Supervises Estimation functions for the purpose of ensuring timely bidding for mechanical construction jobs.
• Manages customer relationships and expectations to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Performs administrative functions to ensure ongoing company operations.
• Ability to interact with others inside and outside at all levels of the organization on a daily basis.
• Obtaining information from others on a daily basis is necessary to complete job tasks.
• Preparing reports for management is frequent.
• Ability to work independently to meet deadlines is required.

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, construction engineering or equivalent experience, required.
• Five to seven years construction management experience, required.
• Minimum three years of supervisory experience, required.

In this role you will install and repair HVAC systems according to the manufacturer’s specifications, ensuring all work performed is done professionally, timely, and accurately according to all policies and procedures.

Job Responsibilities

  • Install, diagnose, and repair HVAC systems
  • Ensure all HVAC systems remain compliant with industry standards and regulations
  • Maintain strong customer service and thorough communication with customers

Job Requirements

  • Journeyman Mechanical License
  • EPA Certified
  • Strong attention to details
  • Be available for on-call duty: nights and weekends
  • Ability to handle physical workload
  • Valid driver’s license
  • US work authorization
